Red Rooster

Red Rooster

Red Rooster Overtown captures the spirit of Miami through a design that honors community, culture, and craftsmanship. Designed by Saladino Design Studios, the restaurant celebrates the rich heritage of Overtown while embracing the city’s contemporary vibrancy. The interiors weave together bold patterns, weathered brick, and warm woods to create a space that feels both grounded and refined. A modern homage to its storied roots.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a mosaic tile floor that draws the eye toward the central bar, a statement of brass and deep mahogany that echoes the charm of historic Southern juke joints. Throughout, hand-painted murals, vintage lighting, and eclectic furnishings infuse the space with rhythm and soul. Custom millwork, layered textures, and curated art narrate Miami’s cultural fusion through material and form.

Lighting plays a pivotal role in defining the mood: soft amber tones highlight architectural details, while bursts of color add energy and warmth. The result is a setting that bridges nostalgia and modernity. A soulful gathering place where design, cuisine, and music come together to honor Overtown’s legacy while looking toward its future.
