Novencento Doral
Novecento Doral is a 5,000 square-foot, two-story restaurant in Miami’s Doral neighborhood that resembles the ancient bodegas typically seen throughout Spain and Argentina. The space is awash in rustic charm, featuring aged brick and stucco throughout, leather and copper accents, green environmental elements, natural wood finishes and dyed cement checkerboard tile flooring.
At the entrance, we had the exterior signage hand-made from classic Argentine road signs that were combined into 3D letters. Moving inside, light woods were used throughout including the walls, stairwell and furnishings to provide a modern finish. Upstairs, the lounge has custom colorful woven lounge chairs surrounded by exotic plants while the main dining room has open, high ceilings with hanging basket light fixtures and photos of Argentine pop culture.
All of the millwork was custom designed by Saladino Design and crafted including the wine-barrel tables in the downstairs’ wine station and lounge. The full bar is made from reclaimed wood surrounded by tall liquor shelves to give the space a warm inviting feel, while the outside has comfortable patio seating surrounded by a variety of succulents and lush hanging plants that entices guests to hang all day.
